New Deputy Estate Manager, Vanessa Tabner

You may have seen Vanessa walking or driving around the Estate, as she joined at the beginning of March and is working closely with James and Sharon in the Estate Office.

Vanessa's background is in Local Authority, where she gained 25 years experience in Estate Management.  Vanessa studied at Kingston University for a Degree in Real Estate Management before qualifying as a General Practice Chartered Surveyor in 2009. 

Vanessa said, "I enjoyed my time in Local Authority but, when the opportunity to join the team at the Wentworth Estate arose,  it was definitely time to make a change."   

She is hoping to eventually become as knowledgeable on Estate matters as James and Sharon after their long tenures.  Vanessa added, "I have been made to feel extremely welcome by everyone and I am already feeling settled and part of the team.  I have already participated in Planning and Statutory meetings, and I am getting a good sense of the Committee's ambitions to continue enhancing the Estate.  I have enjoyed my first few months very much and feel extremely lucky to be working in such a beautiful place."
